Rallying/Racing News - 17th October 2010
News on Recovery.

After having my hand in plaster for over 8 week in was a relief when the Doctors at the hospital removed the cast at the end of September. The unfortunate thing was my own Doctor told me to not do any rallying for another 3/4 weeks to prevent further damage to my hand or until the strength in my hand returns, which it is has now done. Because of my Doctors comments I decided not to risk competing on the Cambriam Rally yesterday and aim for event later inthe year. Congratulations to Chris Hellings for taking the RF1.4 win yesterday and also congratulations to Ashley Slights for taking the Overall RF1.4 Championship.

As for later in the year, plans are in place for me to compete in the Grizedale Rally on the 3-4th December. It will be a great experience and challenge as there is it features a 7-mile stage in the dark on Friday evening in Grizedale Forest. This is then followed by a further 35 miles of stages which will take place on the Saturday in Grizedale and Dunnerdale.

Bye for now.
