Fractured Scaphoid Bone ends Championship Chase.

I recently had an accident while mountain biking, fracturing my Scaphoid bone in my right wrist. I have been told by the doctors that it will be in plaster until the end of September.

This means I will miss the Woodpecker Rally which is the next round of the BTRDA Rally First 1400 Championship. Even though I had a class win on the Wyedean Forrest Rally in February, because I had a DNF on the Somerset Rally in April and we didn't start the Plains Rally in May due to technical problems in the car, missing the Woodpecker means I now won't be able to challenge for the overall Rally First 1400 Championship. This is because you need to score points on 5 rounds out of the 7, to challenge for the Championship.

There is nothing I can do about the championship and I now need to focus on getting fit, so that I will be able to enter 1 or 2 rallies later in the year. If thing go well with my wrist, my aim is to compete on the Cambrian Rally on the 16th October.

I'll be Back!!!
