2008 News...

Rallying/Racing News - 10th February 2008
I've Raced in my First National Rally.

Yesterday I completed the Wyedean Rally, which is the first round of the Formula 1000 Forest Rally Championship. Out of 147 starters in the rally, 102 finished and I finished in 100th place. This is my first rally and my main aim was to finish and gain as much experience as possible, which I did. I was getting more and more confident as the rally progressed and it was a shame it had to finish.

The picture above shows myself and James (my Co-Driver) competing on the Wyedean Rally. More photos can be found if you click here Rally Gallery.

I would like to thank John Goff for allowing me to have this opportunity to drive in this rally, James for volunteering to be my Co-driver and the Rallyschool support team for keeping me in the Rally. Also congratulations to the other members of the 'Rallyschool Micra Team', Dan/Will and Des/Phil, for their good results in the rally.

I'm now looking forward to competing on my 2nd rally, and improving on the success I've had in this rally.

Bye for now.
