Rallying/Racing News - 19th January 2008
I Passed the MSA National 'B' Stage Rally Competition Licence at the Phil Price Rally School.

As this is the first News Report of the year, Happy New Year to you all.

Today I have passed the MSA National 'B' Stage Rally Competition Licence at the Phil Price Rally School. It consisted of a theory test and a practical test, and you had to pass both. This means I can now compete in national rallies and when I have completed 4 rallies I can automatically apply for a MSA National 'A' Stage Rally Competition Licence.

My parents and John Goff have been talking about me competing in a Rally for some time, and it now looks like it might be happening this coming February. After talking to John at the Rallyschool we have agreed to hire one of his Nissan Micras and compete in the forthcoming Wyedean Rally on the 9th February 2008. The rally is the first round of the Formula 1000 Forest Rally Championship. It is centered around the Chepstow Racecourse and includes stages in the Forest of Dean. I have a lot of preparation to do before the rally and I need to practice with my navigator, who will be one of Johns instructors, possibly James.
