2007 News...

I went to the Phil Price Rallyschool to get some practice in before the final of the Rallyschool Scholarship 2007. I had a great day driving the mk2 escorts around a variety of circuits and I also got to drive a Scoobie around the main stage at the site. It was very wet during the day but that just added to the fun. I know that the Scholarship was to be run in front wheel drive cars, but the any pracitce was better than nothing.

The final of the Rallyschool Scholarship 2007 was held a few weeks ago and I finished 3rd. I just didn't perform on the day clipping some of the tyres which I should have missed. Everyone there was very competitive and obviously had some motorsport experience behind them. Congratulations to the winner whose name I can't remember and I hope he has a good season next year.

I havn't given up on rallying yet and I must learn from the mistakes I made in the competition and aim to improve. With John Goff's help and a lot more practice, next year will be better.
