2007 News...

I have qualified for the final of the Rallyschool Scholarship 2007. To do this I had to drive around the course in Shropshire with an instructor who I hadn't met before and achieve a very good standard. As it had been about 6 weeks since I was at the Rallyschool I was a bit nervous, but once at the start line, the nerves went and I drove as well as I could. I also went out with John Goff to prove that I was a worthy finalist and he was pleased with the progress that I have made.

The final should be in October and the people who are going to test the finalists will be Rally driver friends of John Goff. This is so that no favoritism can be shown to any of the finalist. Before then, it has been suggested to me that I should visit one or both of the other Rallyschool sites to get more practice on stages that I have not driven before. I hope to do this sometime in September.
