2007 News...

Yesterday I competed in the 1st round of the Covkartsport Senior Light Race meeting for 2007. In my 1st race I was gridded 7th and I finished 7th due to some dangerous driving (if you can call it that!)from some of the other competitors. For my second race, I was 3rd on the grid and I finished 2nd. This was a much more enjoyable race as everyone was driving safely and not trying to shunt everyone else out of the way to score an additional point. My last race was more like the 1st. I was 6th on the grid and I moved up to 4th only to be pushed onto the grass during the race by last years Senior Light Champion who was later disqualified for this and other incidents duringthe race.

These result put me 10th on the day in the Senior Lights category and 4th in the Senior Lightweight Intermediate Class which is now based on weight.
