2005 Daytona Manchester Inkart Junior Championship.
The first race of the Daytona Manchester Inkart Junior championship saw one of the best grids for a few years, with eighteen drivers competing. The first and second heats didn't go well with me loosing a place in the first due to a bad start and getting Black flagged in the second. I got the Black flag for clipping the driver in fronts back wheel causing him to spin out. In the third and fourth heats I did a lot better, gaining four places in the third and three places in the fourth. This put me in eighth place out of ten in the 'A' final. I had a good start and through some great passing and the misfortune of others I finished a creditable fifth.
I must now concentrate on improving my outdoor racing techniques, before
I race first at Three Sisters and then at Sutton Elms. Both races are in early April.
