I met the other Matt Griffin.
Last weekend my Mum, Dad and I went to watch the Le Mans Endurance Series race at Silverstone. One of the support races to this was the British GT Championship race where one of the drivers is called Matt Griffin. Yes, there are two Matt Griffin's who race! I was determined to meet my name sake and while walking around the paddock we found his team. I introduced myself and I think we were both a bit shocked.
Matt drives a Vauxhall Monaro for the Emotional Engineering team. I had my photo taken with him and I got his autograph. Matt let me sit in his car and he explained the controls and the problems they had been experiencing over the weekend.
