2004 Daytona Manchester Inkart Junior Championship.
Daytona Manchester, Inkart Championship Race, 20th June 2004 - I had a bad time in the heats and finished seventh in the final. After being shunted out of two of the four heats, I only managed tenth on the grid in the final. I knew I had to improve to get points for the championship and as a result of some good overtaking and luck I finished seventh.
As far as the championship is concerned, again luck was on my side. A number of drivers had a bad race last Sunday and consequently I'm back to second in the championship. It is now crucial I get a good result in the next race on 18th July 2004, to keep in touch with the leader of the championship.
